The fabric is from a Maison de Couture deadstock in Italy. Deadstock means that it comes from “leftover/overstock” surplus fabric. It is a more sustainable option than virgin materials. It means that this fabric is left over or over-ordered by other designers or manufacturers. This allows me to reuse and divert these materials from landfill and breathe new life into them.
